The essential DJI Mavic 3 accessories to take your drone to the next level

Got a new DJI Mavic 3 and looking to fill out your kit with all the accessories you need to get the most out of the drone?

Here are the best ND filters, cases, and other accessories for the DJI Mavic 3.

Mavic 3 Bags & Cases

Ultimate Protection: GPC Hard Case

GPC makes great quality hard cases, and their Mavic 3 case with custom water-jet cut foam is no different.

It is both water and dustproof while easily fitting the Mavic 3 drone, three extra batteries, ND filters, the charger, and the controller plus has room underneath for a tablet.

Take a look at the Nanuk 915 Case if you want a bit more budget-minded hard case.

Minimal: PGYTech Carrying Case

If you’re looking for a minimal case that offers basic protection while also letting you easily pack the entire kit in a larger bag or suitcase — the PGYtech Carrying Case is for you.

As one of the cheaper cases as well on this list, it’ll make a minimal dent in your wallet.

Softcase/Bag: FLYDrone Mavic 3 Shoulder Bag

If you want a bag that’s more similar to what DJI included with the Mavic 2 Pro or Air 2S, have a look at the Mavic 3 shoulder bag from FLYDrone.

It’s fairly compact while still managing to fit everything necessary and even has mesh pockets on the side for any additional accessories.

Budget-Friendly: INSYOO Mavic 3 Carrying Case

For those looking to save some money after dropping several thousand on the Mavic 3, take a look at the carrying case by INSYOO.

At just $40 this case is a fraction of some of the premium cases out there but still does a great job protecting your precious cargo and looking professional.

ND, Polarizer & FX Filters

Best Overall: PolarPro Mavic 3 Filters

Though certainly not cheap, PolarPro has gained the reputation for producing the best filters for everything from drones to GoPro cameras — and its Mavic 3 filters are no exception.

The Vivid Collection (ND8/PL, ND16/PL, and ND32/PL) for $130 will likely be all most people need, but if you want it all, have a look at the $400 “Directors Collection” which includes a whopping 9 filters.

Mid Range: NiSi Mavic 3 Filters

NiSi originally started making filters for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras which gained a solid reputation for their optimal clarity, sharpness, and color reproduction.

Its Mavic 3 filters are built to the same standards and come as standalone filters or in 4-filter combos.

Budget-Friendly: Freewell Mavic 3 Filters

I always caution people from trying to save money when it comes to lens filters — after all, there’s almost nothing you can do in post to fix image issues like soft focus or color tint introduced by a bad filter.

That being said, Freewell filters are both very cheap (a single filter goes for $20) and well-liked among users so if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on filters, these are a good bet.

Misc. Mavic 3 Accessories

Best Micro SD Card: ProGrade Digital

With the new Mavic 3 shooting up to an impressive 5K resolution for video, having a reliable and fast micro SD card is essential.

ProGrade Digital’s micro SD cards tick all the boxes and aren’t too expensive.

Charge On The Go: DJI 65W Car Charger

Being able to juice up batteries while you drive between locations is a great feeling and can save you from having to lug around too many batteries.

The DJI Mavic 3 car charger is the go top option for this and charges at an incredible 65W.

Landing Pad: Hoodman 3′ Landing Pad

While a landing pad is rarely ever necessary for a flying drone, it does go a long way to making you feel and look more professional.

Hoodman’s 3′ Landing Pad is bigger than many of the cheaper options on the market plus has the added benefit of being weighted so it won’t blow away on a windy day.

That’s all I have now for accessories when it comes to the DJI Mavic 3.
