Since the release of its first 35mm HERO in 2004, GoPro has defined and refined the meaning of what an action camera is and can be — releasing dozens of cameras and major accessories (including the Karma drone) over the years.
Generally they have followed Apple’s schedule of releasing a new main action cam every Fall, though some years have brought several new product releases.
As we surpass nearly 20 years of GoPro, I decided to put together a page to keep track of the release dates of every major GoPro camera or product since the 35mm film HERO.
